The first thing I do upon waking up is drink a glass of water. Hydration is essential💦—it kickstarts your metabolism, flushes out toxins, and gets your body ready for the day ahead. I’ll dive deeper into the benefits of hydration in an upcoming post, but for now, let’s talk about my go-to morning nutrition routine: my energizing smoothie!
My Favorite Energizing Smoothie Recipe
This refreshing and nutrient-packed smoothie is my daily staple. It’s simple, quick, and fuels me with essential vitamins and minerals. Best of all, it takes less than five minutes to make!
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh spinach
2 stalks celery
1 green apple (optional)
1 whole lemon (peeled)
1 small piece of ginger (optional, for an extra kick)
1 cup water (or more, depending on desired consistency)
Instructions:
Wash all ingredients thoroughly.
Peel the lemon and chop the celery and apple into smaller pieces.
Add everything to a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
